7-Me-MPI? Mind enhancing drug?

It is usually refered to as 7-Me-MPI, but some say it is 6-Me-MPI. There is no common name thus far. We are not responsible for any unkown side effects that are not listed here. It is strangely related to 5-MeO-MIPT, but is much milder and doesn't produce the pyschadelic results of 5-MeO-MIPT unless taken at such a high dose one would simply pass out.

DOSAGE

Users who have reported using this drug, said anything more than half a pill over the course of two days was pushing it. Some users were taking 3 or 4 pills a day experienced a decrease in their ability to learn when they stopped use whereas those who controlled their dosage all reported that even after use they were able to learn and problem solve better. Most users we've found were in difficult college classes and would take half a pill either 25 minutes before studying or the night before school to enhance their ability to learn the material. Many users reported if they didn't eat breakfast the day after, they would get a little nauseous but others reported actually eating early in the morning caused some discomfort.

There is one case where a user smashed it up and snorted it and said that he experienced a high almost with enhanced learning but for a very short period and reported having a mild withdrawel the following day.

LAW

It is not controlled or regulated by the government, but recent studies may classify it as a Schedule I drug if it were intended for human consumption.

HISTORY

There is no evidence so far of this drug being used any earlier than 80 years ago.

PRICE

Varies greatly from state to state, but some have reported as low as 10 dollars for about 25 pills while other states have reported as high as 50 dollars for 20 pills.

EFFECTS

If the right dose is taken carefully and the "peak" is used efficiently, 7-Me-MPI can greatly enhance one's ability to learn, sort through one's problems, but is used primarily for education and is common among college students.

Most people achieve full effects after about 25 minutes, and the "peak" can last 1 to 2 hours depending on the potency of the 7-Me-MPI pills. They then will experience about 24 - 32 hours of effects where learning is easier and some report an increase in mood. The "peak" can be detrimental as some people reported if they sat around they became irratable the next day unless they played challenging games which usually were unusual.

PROBLEMS

7-Me-MPI pills aren't proven to be addicting, but some may use it to the extent where if they stop they feel "slow". Also if the peak is abused it can actually inhibit your brains ability to communicate to the different regions of the brain as efficiently, but this is reported to not be a problem if someone sleeps right after they take the correct dosage.

Some people try to take as many as they can to achieve the effects of 5-MeO-MIPT and entered a temporary coma, usually lasting 4 to 5 days, but there hasn't been any reported deaths.

So far 7-Me-MPI pills are proven to be harmless with the exception of extremely high doses. They can, for some, be detrimental but that is very rare. Short term there has never been any reported problems but as of now we currently do not have any further information regarding long term use as most discontinue use.

Most people discontinue use as they can't feel the effects without an extreme dose. Studies show that people taking 7-Me-MPI have higher test scores but they do not realize their own capability and discontinue their use as they don't see "immediate" effects.

Most of our information has been taken from users who have emailed http://www.erowid.com. They cannot release any information about 7-Me-MPI as there is not enough information, but our studies show it is relatively harmless. We also recommend reading about 5-MeO-MIPT as it is closely related to it chemically and may share the same long term effects.
